John 8:32 "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."

“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you Free.”  John 8:32

QUESTION:  What does the truth make you free from?

ANSWER:  It means set free from the power of sin so that we can live without committing sin.  Those who commit sin are the servants of sin - Jesus can and will set us free.

Joh 8:32  And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Joh 8:33  They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?

Joh 8:34  Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.

Friends,  that is why the apostle John said: "Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin"

The child of God has been set free from sin.  The problem is that many think they are born of God even though they continue to commit sin.

Blessings
