WHERE IS THE BIBLE SILENT?
TRUTH OR CONSEQUENCES
Let us be wary of curious questions. If the Bible is silent, we must be silent, too. Awful consequences result when we leave the truth of the scriptures and enter into the realm of speculations that divide the body of Christ.

John Davis wrote: "2Ti 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 2Ti 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. How can this scripture be true, if there are areas where the Bible is silent?"

Donna quotes Jesus:

“Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

Matthew 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, BUT MY FATHER ONLY.

Matthew 24:42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

Matthew 24:44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.”

The Bible is silent about the day and hour of the return of the Lord.  Yet,  some men plunder the assets of the church as they continuously  babble their foolish conjectures.  Their false prophecies cause divisions among the brethren.  Some people may even lose their steadfastness and faith;  because, they must suffer from foolish choices that were based upon vain speculations.  When the false prophecy fails, we can be certain that the scoffers will mock.

We should use this time preparing for the Lord’s return to correct the errors that have hindered our sanctification and the unity of the faith.
