"I have two primary reasons why I created a Keep and Share account.  The first was to have an online calendars that are available anywhere," said Clarence Whetten, a Keep and Share user.

"My family runs from the calendar posted on the fridge at home. I was always having to call my wife to have her check the calendar to see if there were conflicting plans.  Then I had to remember to post my activities to the fridge calendar.  Calendars for future months were always a problem.  Now one of the calenders in my wife's KeepandShare account is the master family calender and I can check it where ever I am and post my activities to it."

Clarence continued, "I have a hobby greenhouse and every spring I work out the planting schedule for the vegetables and flowers that I want to start.  In the past I have done this on paper and then used these logs to determine what to do better or the same next year.  This year I'm keeping my planting calendar in Keep and Share and my planting and care log in a Keep and Share document.  I take my notebook computer out to the greenhouse and find that I can keep a better, easier to read and more organized log than I could do with paper and pencil."

"The other major use for Keep and Share is bookmarks.  I was always emailing myself URL's to and from work as I discovered new sites that I wanted to remember.  Working from 4 different computers browser bookmarks were just a pain.  The bookmark I wanted was never on the computer I was currently using." [by keeping his bookmarks in his Keep and Share account, Clarence can access them from any internet-connected computer in the world - editor]

Carlota, how embarassing!  I'll fix the mispellings right now!  Thank you.

Clarence, please don't think me a snob, I'm a spell-checker and it's a curse.  Typos jump out at me and are so distracting... in your four paragraphs you misspelled CALENDAR eight times.
I was talking with my teenage son yesterday about that very thing.  One sees words misspelled and misused and gets accustomed to them used that way.  He has the same aptitude and encounters typographical errors all the time.  He said what gets him is how most of his peers (recent high school graduates) don't know the difference between there and their, its and it's, your and you're.  The one I see very often is accordian for accordion and dalmation for dalmatian.
Your - not you're :) suggestion of the CALENDAR is just great.  Thank you for sharing!

These are fine ideas! I plan to get my wife to move her calendar to KAS.  And the bit aabout having the favorites on the wrong computer strikes home. Also, I lost  many of my favorites when one of my computers died. UGH!
