Using Tables
for Online Shared Databases & Lists

KeepAndShare's documents can contain quite large tables consisting of hundreds of rows. Since it's so easy to securely share KeepandShare's documents online, a large table stored in a KeepandShare document can be an ideal way to provide lists, tables and simple databases on line for multiple users to view and update.

For instance, if you were coordinating a volunteer fundraising effort in which 30 parents from your school were going to call on 300-400 local vendors, you could put a large table online inside a KeepandShare document, and give editing rights to the 30 parents.  They could then each update the table with the latest status of their solicitations, making coordination of the project a snap.

If you have a table in an Excel spreadsheet and you want to copy it into KeepandShare, there is a simple process to bringing the table into KeepandShare.

Here is an zoomed image of a very large table in KeepandShare (note that cells and text can be highlighted using the editor's standard highlight color icon):

Yes, if the owner of a document (any document, including one that has tables) checks the 'edit' box when they are sharing it, then the sharee's can edit that document, including the table.   Here is more info on sharing editable documents.

I wonder, can different users edit the table?
