See that cute little country home above?  Well, I know one Keep and Share family where the extended family consists of six separate families that all share ownership, and usage, of their home-away-from-home in the country.   A dream come true!

 

Until it comes time to schedule who has the home on which weekend.  That's when the dream might turn into a nightmare of coordination, phone calls, emails and, occasionally, misunderstandings.

 

Which is where Keep and Share entered the picture.  One enterprising member created an account for the family and gave access & edit rights to all six families.  Now they have their own private calendar  where they can note their reservations for use of the home.  Like all Keep and Share information, it's online so they can access it from their own computers, and it's protected by password access.   Also, since the Keep and Share calendar supports unlimited text entry into each day, they can make copious notes about their reservation.

 

Another great use is they share a few documents in the same Keep and Share account to keep track of fix-it lists for the home and also a list of which supplies need replenishing.  Now the next family won't arrive to find out there's no baking powder left.
