Two Months Before Baby Shower

 Create guest list
 Set budget
 Set the date
 Determine location

One Month Before Baby Shower

 Decide on theme
 Select and mail invitations (include directions!)
 Plan menu (catered or informal?)

Three Weeks Before Baby Shower

 Order cake (if you are not making it yourself)
 Order balloons and flowers or centerpieces (if needed)
 Order tables and chairs (if needed)
 Order any other entertainment or surprises that are needed

Two Weeks Before Baby Shower

 Purchase or make decorations, game prizes and party favors
 Purchase plates, cups, utensils, tablecloths, etc., (if needed)
 Finalize menu with caterer or restaurant (if using)
 Plan which games you will play

One Week Before Baby Shower

 Determine final guest count
 Contact guests who were invited but have not responded
 Wrap game prizes and party favors
 Purchase film and batteries for camera and/or video camera
 Clean the house (if shower will be at a home)
 Prepare printed menu, seating assignments and name tags (if needed)
 Purchase your shower gift for mom-to-be

Day Before Baby Shower

 Begin decorating (if you're hosting the shower at a home)
 Set up tables, chairs, etc., (if you're hosting the shower at a home)
 Purchase drinks (if you're hosting the shower at a home)
 Cook whatever you can prepare ahead of time (if you are cooking food for the shower)
 Bake shower cake (if you are making it)
 Get games ready and make sure you have plenty of pens or pencils and paper
 Prepare a rough schedule of events (for your use only)
 Double check that you've completed everything on the checklist so far

Day of the Baby Shower

 Pick up balloons, flowers and other decorations you may have ordered
 Pick up cake (if you didn't bake it yourself)
 Finish setting up decorations
 Make sure game prizes and favors are ready
 Purchase plenty of ice for drinks and make sure you have enough cups
 Set out food on tables if you're hosting the shower at a home
 Designate certain guests to help take photos or videos of the shower
 Keep a trash bag nearby when the mom-to-be is opening gifts
 Designate someone to keep track of shower gifts and who they were given by
 Have fun, be flexible and enjoy!
