Finding An Address

The two fastest ways to find an address are to either click on green folder name for the letter of the alphabet the name is stored under, or type the name into the search box and click on the "Search" button:

Some tips:

  • You can also search for addresses by date by clicking on the "by date" check box in the show bar. (also click on "all folders" if you want to search all letters of the alphabet). It will show you addresses most recently entered first, making it easy to find that client address you entered last Friday but whose name you can't remember:

  • You can use gold stars to mark important addresses and find them quickly. Just click on the 'ghosted' gold star to turn the star on. You can then use the gold star checkbox to display only gold star addresses:

  • Don't forget you can also search for text that is stored within the address' document. This can be a powerful way to find people - e.g., if you don't remember their name but remember they live on "Maple street", just type Maple street into the search box!
