Each day box of the calendar has virtually unlimited text capacity (many thousands of characters). Click on the 'This Day' command on the blue bar to put your calendar in to Day View, where you are given two very large boxes.
The large boxes, combined with the calendar's free text user interface means that the calendar is an ideal way to keep daily journals such as:
- a detailed daily diary or business planner calendar with notes on meetings & topics
- a gardening journal detailing planting & fertilizer & pruning dates
- a travel diary
- a health journal noting diet & medicine intake & symptoms
- an exercise log
- a daily diet diary of everything you eat
- a record of all the medications you take in a day, and how you feel and any unusual symptoms.
You might want to use your main calendar for normal daily scheduling, so remember you can turn on up to 9 additional calendars - use one or two of them for these 'journal' types of applications.

KeepandShare has great printing support for large amounts of text. To print all the text in a day box that has lots of text: put the calendar in Day View and click on Print and then choose Layout 1. Layout 1 prints just 1 day per page, using as many pages as necessary to print out all your text.
