You can switch between the calendar's month, week & day views by any of three methods.
(1) Clicking on the view drop down menu:

(2) Click on the date 'number' (e.g., click on the "16" for the calendar box for October 16) -- you'll "zoom in" on your calendar.
Zooming works like this: if you are in month view, the calendar will zoom in to the week view of the day you click on. If you are in week view already, the calendar will zoom in to day view. Lastly, if you're already in day view and you click on the date number, the calendar will switch back to week view, in effect toggling your view so you can step back out a level.
(3) You can also choose the 'This Month', 'This Week' and 'This Day' commands. These will change the view and set the calendar to view today's date.
The view changes accordingly, to either the Month View:

Or the Week View:

Or the Day View:

Note how much text the calendar boxes can hold! They can hold thousands of characters of text no matter which view you are in, but the 'day view' gives you the greatest viewing and printing area. Using the calendar in day view is an ideal way to keep an online diary for gardening notes, travel notes, medical history or diet & weight loss. It's ideal for daily planner and daily diary applications in general.
You can easily resize your calendar by resizing your browser window.
