1- I DON'T GET A NEW WINDOW WITH THE PRINT VIEW
Problem: "How do I find the window with the print view of my calendar? I click on the green print button but I still don't get a new window with the printable view of my calendar."
Solution: It's possible that the new print-view window is opening up as a new tab in your Internet Explorer or Firefox browser - look for it and click on its tab.
It's also possible that you might have a pop-up blocker stopping KeepandShare from opening up the print view window. Here is how to tell your pop-up blockers to allow KeepandShare.com.
2- THE PRINT POP UP FLASHES THEN GOES AWAY
Problem: "When I click on the calendar's green Print button, I briefly see the pop up dialog for calendar Printing, but then it goes away."
Solution: It's also possible that you might have a pop-up blocker stopping KeepandShare from opening up the print dialog. Here is how to tell your pop-up blockers to allow KeepandShare.com.
If that doesn't solve the problem, it's very possible your browser needs resetting to correctly run KeepandShare. Here's how to reset your browser.
3- OTHER STEPS YOU CAN TAKE
Problem: My the print out still doesn't appear, or it's blank or says 'Error'.
Solution: KeepandShare calendar print outs are 'PDF' files. PDF is a standard high resolution format from a company called Adobe. They provide free 'Acrobat' viewers to view PDF files in any web browser. Sometimes your browser's Acrobat software is confused and needs restarting or updating.
Try printing in another browser. (e.g., you were using IE 8 but you can log in using Firefox 3.5; if you don't have another browser, get one for free), Try logging into KeepandShare with that other browser or computer. If printing works there, that means the problem is indeed with your first browser.
Try these steps to revive your browser's PDF printing:
- While viewing your KeepandShare calendar, force your browser to do a 'refresh': on a PC press 'Ctrl-F5'; on a Mac press 'Command-R'. (the refresh command tells the browser to reload all the files on the current page).
- Reboot your computer and try again.
- Update or reinstall the Adobe Acrobat software in your browser.
These steps usually clear up the problem.
4- BUTTONS AND STUFF APPEAR ON MY CALENDAR PRINTOUT
Problem: "When I print the calendar it comes out virtually perfect except the KeepandShare logo and buttons appear on the print out. How do I print calendar that doesn't include all of this extra stuff? "
Solution: This occurs when you tell your browser to print without first telling KeepandShare that you want to print. You should first click on the 'Print' button at the left end of the calendar title bar.
Whenever you want to print your calendar, make sure you are looking at your calendar in the browser and then click on the "Print" button.
