Resizing Your Calendar & Changing Text Size

The size of the day boxes can be easily adjusted for both day, week & month views just by resizing your browser window.

How to Resize the Calendar:

  • You can easily resize your calendar by changing the size of your browser window (make sure your window is not in full-screen mode, and then grab the bottom right corner of your browser window and drag it).
  • The calendar automatically resizes to fill the browser window, although the calendar has a minimum width.

Here are sample images of the week view browser window resized to be smaller and larger:

Note how much more room you have in each day box as you make your browser window larger.

Don't worry about affecting the layout or size of your calendar printouts - KeepandShare calendar printing is not affected by onscreen calendar size.

How to Make Your Onscreen Calendar Text Larger:

The size of the on-screen calendar text is controlled by the "text size" setting in your browser.

  • In IE7, go to the "Page" menu and then the "Text Size" command
  • In Firefox 2, go to the "View" menu and then the "Text Size" command
  • In Firefox 3, go to the "View" menu and then the "Zoom" command

Both IE and Firefox also allow you to change the on screen text size by holding down the Ctrl key and pressing either "+" or "-".

Tips:

  • The text size of your calendar print out is controlled by the font size choice in the calendar print dialog.
  • You can type up to 10,000 characters of free format text into each day box, making KeepandShare calendars the ultimate in free format calendaring. Don't forget it's handy to switch to week view or day view of your calendar so you have large or very large boxes in which to enter and view your text.
