Be sure to just try generating your own PDF printouts. Experiment with the many options. You will not waste any paper, since you will always first see the final PDF file on your computer screen and you can easily discard it without printing if you want to make some more changes to the print dialog settings.
Remember that you always control the contents of the day and you can put thousands of characters of notes and hundreds of events in each day. Here are some samples of what day's might look like (on screen and in print outs):


You can turn off the weekends and you can also ask that the print out include the several days each from the preceding and following months.
