The Show Bar looks like this:

It appears just below the blue command bar in all applications except calendar, share and visit.
The show bar controls what items are "shown" or displayed to you. Think of the show bar as the tool you use to tell KeepandShare what you want it to "show me." The show bar is instantaneous - as soon as you check any of the boxes the display is updated.
If you check the "All folders" box then all folders will be displayed with their contents. If it is not checked then you will only see one folder at a time.
If you check the "Sharing" box then the sharing status of all items is displayed. For instance, in the following image the the 'sharing icon'
indicates that the document "Driving Directions" is shared, and on the right side is displayed whom the item is shared with and whether they have edit rights.

If you check the "By date" box then the displayed items are shown by the most recent modified date - a great way to look in "reverse" order for information according to how recently you worked on it.
If you check the "
" box then only items with gold stars are displayed. If it is not checked then all items (with and without gold stars) are displayed.
If you check the "hidden" box then only hidden files are displayed.
If you check the "Files" box then only uploaded files are shown. If it is not checked then all items (both uploaded files and other KeepandShare items) are shown.
The search box allows you to search for text within the current application. To clear the search, click on the
that appears next to the Search box.
