Formatting Background Color and Text Colors

There are several ways you can adjust the background and text colors in your documents in KeepandShare.

In all document editing applications (Address, Discuss, Document and Photo Blog) you may change the foreground and background colors of selected text by clicking on one of these icons:

The left icon that appears as a painter's palette is the Change Foreground Color command. The right "highlighter" icon changes the background color of selected text. You can use these commands to highlight text, for instance in this image the highlighter was used to give a highlighting effect:

 

In the Photo Blog application you can change the background color. Right click your mouse when you are editing a photo blog, you'll see a context menu. Choose the page properties command and you'll see a dialog that looks like this:

The two main fields you should use in this dialog are Background Color and Text Color. They will affect the background page color and foreground text color for the entire photo blog. You can change their colors by clicking on the color picker icon, which then presents:

Lastly, whenever you are editing a document with a table in it, if you right click over the table you can then choose either the Table properties or Cell properties commands, both of which provide options for setting background colors.
