Adjust the Colors of Text and Page Background

Give your photo blogs or share pages greater visual interest by picking fun colors for the text and the page background. Just make sure you pick colors that work well together - the text color should have a strong contrast with the page color to ensure readability.

The easiest way to pick color combinations is in the "New PhotoBlog" command when you are at the "Auto Create Photo Blog" page. Simply click on any of the pre-selected color combinations:

You can also change the color of either text or page whenever you are editing a photo blog or share page.

Change the color of selected text by first selecting the text and then choosing one of the following icons:

The palette icon on the left is "Change Foreground Color" - it changes the color of the text characters themselves. The paint bucket on the right is "Change Background Color" - it changes the background color surrounding the text. For instance, if you choose a background color of yellow, the text will appear as if it were highlighted by a yellow marker.

Change the background color of the entire photo blog by editing the blog and right clicking anywhere within the editor window, which brings up the following menu:

Choose the page properties command and you will have the following dialogue:

This dialogue allows you to control many attributes of the page, including "Background Color". Click on the color chooser icon and you can choose a new color from a palette. Click on "Ok" to apply the changes to the page.
