Working With Photo Rolls, Deleting Photos & Linking to Photos from Other Websites

Whenever you upload photos into KeepandShare they are stored in photo rolls.

Photos in photo rolls are stored in your KeepandShare account, in our secure data centers, and the photos are formatted and stored in a fashion that makes them quick to display in gorgeous, high resolution in your photo blogs and documents.

Once you've uploaded your photos into KeepandShare, to access photos in photo rolls, either:

1) Edit a photo blog or document and give the insert photo command .

2) Create a new photo blog by giving the "New Photo Blog" command. The first screen you'll see is one to pick pictures for the photo blog.

In both cases you'll have a screen that allows you to pick a photo roll and then pick photo(s) within that roll. Photo rolls are automatically given a name with the year and month the photos were uploaded. Click on a green name to select that photo roll.

At the bottom of the screen you'll see the contents of the currently selected photo roll displayed:

Click on one of the photos to choose it.

You can delete a photo by clicking on the 'delete' command immediately below the photo. There is no way to delete an entire photo roll

3) Linking to Your Photos: Using Photos on KeepandShare on Other Websites: Whenever you upload photos into your KeepandShare account, you use these photos from anywhere on the web. For instance, you can link to your photos from another website or blog and your visitors can view them without being required to download them. Here's how:

  1. Upload your photos into KeepandShare using the 'Upload Photos' command and, when it's finished uploading them, click on the blue 'Create Photoblog Now" command to create a photo blog
  2. View the photos in a photoblog.
  3. When viewing a photo in a photoblog, right click and use the browser's 'Properties' command (in IE 7) or 'Copy Link Location' (in Firefox). You will now have a URL link to the photo. Put this URL link in your website or blog.
