Share Commands

All user information in KeepandShare can be shared with other users, or kept completely private so that only you can view it. Use the commands on this page to control which friends of yours can access which of your shared information.

Sharing is built around several simple concepts. The Friends List is a list of KeepandShare user names that is the universe of which users you want to share with. Share Groups are a way to create a list of friends so it is easy to share information with this group again and again. You assign individual friends to be members of share groups.

In any application click on the blue bar's Share command to bring up this screen:

These commands give you several ways to display and control sharing with friends:

  1. By Friend: You can click on a friend's name or search for their user name. Once you've found them, you can click on check boxes to immediately add them to Share Groups.
  2. By Share Groups: use this screen to edit the list of users included in a specific share group, as well as assign a name and description to the share group.
  3. Edit a Share Page: your Share Page is a public portal to all of your shared KeepandShare information. This Edit command puts you into KeepandShare's familiar and powerful document editor where you can create headlines, write text and quotes, and insert and format photos to create an attractive Share Page.
  4. View Share Page: displays your Share Page as others will see it when they visit it.
