Stored Files

The maximum size of a single file is 8 megabytes! It is rare that a normal spreadsheet, word processing, PDF or other file is ever more than 1 or 2 megabytes. This limit is large enough for almost any file except video and large MP3 files.

Stored files (also referred to as "uploaded files" or "binary files") are any file such as a spreadsheet, word ".doc", PDF or MP3 file.

These various binary files can be uploaded to KeepandShare using the Upload Files command. Storing files such as these in KeepandShare is useful to either backup your PC or to share files with colleagues or share files between your work and home PCs.

See Membership Details for current plan capacity limits.

To see where you stand on stored file limits, click the gray 'Dashboard' tab and then 'Settings'. Click on 'View Usage Statistics'.
