The message "You have new subscribers!" is displayed whenever someone has subscribed to your "Public" shares. Your new subscriber will receive notifications in his "Fresh Shares" section of his Dashboard of any of your new or modified public shares.
The message gives you a choice on each new subscriber as to whether you want to add that user to any of your share groups at this time. By adding them to share groups they can gain access to non-public information that is only shared with the share groups.
Click on the button "Add to share groups" to go to the screen where you can easily add this user to share groups. Click on the "Do Not Add" button if you want to do nothing at this time.

"Public" shares are those documents, photoblogs, etc. that you've specifically shared with the public by choosing the share group "Public" under the "Groups" list in the document editor.
If your new subscriber has also checked "comment notifications," he'll also received notifications in his "Fresh Comments" section of his Dashboard whenever there are any new comments on your public shares.
To view the list of people subscribing to you, click on the gray Dashboard tab and then 'Subscriptions.'
