Create Photoblogs With a Single Click

In the Photo Blog application, the "New PhotoBlog" command provides a simple, step-by-step wizard interface to create a complete photo blog. We recommend this command as the easiest way to create great looking new photo blogs.

First, make sure you have your pictures already uploaded into KeepandShare, before you create your photo blog. To upload your pictures choose the Photo Blog's "Upload Photos" command. Once your photos are uploaded, they can be used in as many photo blogs as you like.

Choose the Photo Blog application from the gray tabs, then select the "New PhotoBlog" command and you are prompted to pick the pictures you want to have in the photo blog:

The pick pictures screen has two areas: the top area lists your Photo Rolls (these are like folders for storing your photos). You should select a photo roll by clicking on its green name. The bottom area displays the contents of the selected photo roll. Click on the photo thumbnails images. As you select each picture, you'll see it added to a list at the very bottom showing you the 'pictures so far selected to be included in the new photo blog.'

Note that the order you select the thumbnails is the order the photos will appear within the photo blog.

When you are done selecting your photos, click on the "Continue" button:

and you will see the "Auto Create Photo Blog" screen:

On this screen you assign a name for the photo blog and select a color combination. My personal recommendation is to also click on the "Center the photos" checkbox:

Here are two examples of how you can control your text and page colors::

Black text on blue-green page

Red text on lime-green page

Then click on the "Create Photo Blog" button. You'll immediately be viewing your finished photo blog in the Editor. In the top-left corner of the editor is a drop-down to select the folder for the photo blog.

Since KeepandShare is rather unique in its ability to allow you to insert unlimited text descriptions in your photo blog, now would be a good time to click on the Edit button, which brings up KeepandShare's document editor, with which you can insert and edit unlimited text before and after each photo. Just type in a quick caption. Your friends and family will love the resulting share.
