Does KeepandShare Support Full HTML?

Yes, each document (or photo blog or share page or discussion) in KeepandShare is stored as full, native HTML.

Whenever you are editing a document you can switch to viewing the document by clicking on the "HTML Source" icon in the icon toolbar:

As soon as you click on this icon, the document is displayed in HTML source code. You can edit the source code. This can be a powerful way to control layout, tables, links and more - but we recommend you only do this if you know HTML.

Click on the icon again to return to the normal document view.

Useful Tip:

  • Before you go into HTML mode, put a unique word in all capitals in your document to help you find a specific location (e.g., where you want to embed a video).
  • For instance, put this all caps text "PUT-VIDEO-HERE" into your document while editing it in normal mode
  • Then go into HTML mode by clicking on "<>". You can then scroll or use the browser's Find command to search for the text "PUT-VIDEO-HERE".
