Play Music or Video on Your Share Page or Photoblog

Trick up your share page by adding music or video to individual photoblogs or to the share page itself!

We'll demonstrate how to do it with video, but the principle is the same for embedding MP3 music or any web media.

First, upload your video clip to a site that allows video to be stored, such as YouTube (for MP3, you'll need to have your MP3 file hosted on a website that supports streaming of MP3 files, you can Google on a search phrase such as 'free mp3 streaming' to find these sites).

Once your video clip is uploaded, get the "Embed" html code. Normally it's described something like "Copy and paste the HTML below to embed this video onto a web page." Be sure to select and copy all the HTML code. It will look something like this:

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/5X_7Xt2ga-s&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/5X_7Xt2ga-s&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

Now you can edit the KeepandShare page you want the video. You have to edit the page in "HTML" mode by by clicking on the "HTML Source" icon in the icon toolbar:

Paste the Embed HTML where you want the video to be (here are useful tips on finding the right location)

Lastly, click save and exit.

( youtube, embed videos, embed mp3, mp3 player, video player)
