How Do I Convert a Microsoft Word Document into a KeepandShare Document?

By converting your Word document into a native KeepandShare document you will be able to edit it using any internet connected PC and you can also use KeepandShare's powerful "search box" to find documents.

First open up your document inside of Microsoft word and copy all of the document to the clipboard. An easy way to do this is to select all the text in the document with the Ctrl-A key combination and then giving the copy command with the Ctrl-C key combination.

Now create or open the document in KeepandShare's native word processor and give the paste command inside the KeepandShare editor by using the Ctrl-V key combination or using the paste icon command:

There are several varieties of paste command icons in KeepandShare's icon bar - click here to learn more about them.

If you are pasting from Microsoft Word, we strongly encourage you to use this paste icon, which cleans the Word text of confusing HTML formatting instructions:

Note: if the document you are copying includes embedded photos or images, they will not appear in the KeepandShare document. You must separately upload them into KeepandShare (or other leading photo websites) and reinsert them into the document.
