KeepandShare Runs on Any Mobile Device
iPhone, Android, iPad, Kindle Fire... All You Need is a Browser
You can access a mobile version of KeepandShare from any computer or phone by pointing your browser at "keepandshare.com/m" -- note the "/m" at the end!
Alternatively, just go to our home page from your mobile phone and we will automatically detect you are using a mobile device and give you the choice to log in using the mobile version of KeepandShare. Cool.
Once you are signed in to /m, you'll see a fast version of KeepandShare optimized for small screens. It's free, and it works great on iPhones, iPods, iPads, BlackBerry and Android phones, so you can access your information on the go. Access, share and collaborate on all your content from anywhere - calendar, to do lists, photos, documents, & more.

Adding New Information
In the File application, Address and To Do, you can add new text notes by scrolling to the bottom of the screens - you'll find an 'Add' box that lets you prepend or append some text.
In File you can also create 'Smartphone Documents', which are plain text (no formatting), but can be created and edited on smart phones, iPads, laptops, and desktop computers. Smartphone documents allow you to keep simple notes that you can edit from any device. View a folder and click the "
" in the top bar to create a smart phone document.
In Calendar, you can create and edit events. You can also add text to the top of the day's Calendar Notes section.
Using the calendar:
- 7 days are displays in a vertical scroll optimized for small screens.
- Use the right & left arrows to jump 7 days at-a-time.
- Tap on the month name (e.g., 'August 2010') to display a month view to select another set of 7 days.
- Tap on any one day's name (e.g., 'Wednesday July 14') to display only that day - scroll to see the 'add' box at the bottom of that day.
- Tap on the red bar to return to the list of multiple calendar days.
- To add notes or an event to a day, view a single day and scroll to the bottom:
- Tap 'Add to Notes' to prepend some text to the calendar notes for that day.
- Tap 'Add Event' to add a repeating event to that day.
Public Calendars
When smart phone users are not logged in and they try to view a public KeepandShare calendar using the normal KeepandShare website, a "Smart Phone Viewer" button appears - they can tap this button to switch into the mobile version of KeepandShare.
Cookies Must be Enabled
KeepandShare, like all other cloud-based web apps, requires that your browser turn on 'cookies'.
- iPhone: You can enable cookies by going to the iPhone's Settings app, then Safari -> Accept Cookies, and setting it to 'From Visited' or 'Always'.
- Android:
- If your web browser is not already running, you need to start it by selecting the Browser application on your phone.
- Once the web browser is started, push the "Menu" button on your phone. This brings up the options for the current application that is running. In this case, the "Go", "Bookmarks", "New window", "Refresh","Forward" and "More" options will become available. Select on the "More" option.
- Under the "More" option, you can now select some of the web browser functions. Select the "Settings" function.
- The "Settings" functions is where you will find most of the options to control the Android web browser. Scroll down until you find the "Accept cookies" option. Make sure the box next to it is checked to enable cookies for the web browser.
Limitations
Because mobile phones do not allow rich-text editing in their browsers (i.e., word processing style editing with fonts), the mobile version of KeepandShare does not provide our full web word processor or the ability to edit your calendar day boxes. Instead, we allow you the ability to quickly add simple text notes and events and to create/edit 'smart phone documents' which are plain text.
