The public holidays calendar is displayed in these two windows. The first displays only the actual holidays (not blank days). The second is in traditional 'month view' and it displays a full month at a time. It is also printable. Of course, it includes every major public holiday and Federal holiday.

A public holiday, national holiday or legal holiday is a holiday generally established by law and it designates a non-working day during the year. Bank holidays tend to be the exact same as Federal holidays in the U.S. - that's what a public holidays calendar is for.

Month View of Public Holidays:

Our public holiday calendar includes all the major 2012 public holidays, 2012 public holidays and of course for future years 2012, 2013, 2014 etc., including New Year's Day, Birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr., Washington's Birthday, Memorial Day, Indepdence Day (July 4th!), Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day holidays.

Besides U.S. Federal holidays, the calendar includes major national public holidays and world religion holidays, including Protestant holiday calendar, Catholic holiday calendar, Islamic calendar and Jewish calendar.

In the United States, a federal holiday is a public holiday calendar recognized by the United States government. Non-essential federal government offices are closed. All federal employees are paid for the holiday; those who are required to work on the holiday sometimes receive wages for that day in addition to holiday pay.
