My Latest Project 3/12/06
This last week I have been building a shoe rack for Christina. I had some help and advice from my dad as well as a little help from Christina.
I built it out of solid 1"x12" pine. At the point this picture was taken, I had already done most of the work.
I had already done all my cutting, routering, and sanding.
I put little 1.5" kickers in the front to keep the shoes from sliding off. (the racks are on 15 degree angles)
Christina helped fill nail holes and sand them smooth.
All ready for a finish.
I used a clear oil finish to help bring out the color and seal the wood.
All done!
It holds her shoes perfectly!
Christina is very happy with it.
