Video Transcript for Navigating Your Calendar

Navigating the calendar in KeepandShare is easy, just click on the Calendar tab and use the Next Month button to move from one month to the next month. And use the Prev Month button to move backwards. You have the same style buttons available in Week View, where you can move backwards a week at a time or forwards. And in Day view you have the Next Day button and the Previous Day button. Let's return to month view.

A particularly powerful way to move through your calendar is to click on the day number. When you are in month view clicking on the day number zooms you in to Week View. And when you are in Week View, clicking on the day number zooms you into Day View. Once you are in Day View, if you click here it will toggle you back out to Week View and back into Day view. You can return to Month View at any time by clicking on the blue bar's This Month command.

Now let's use the Go To button. Which quickly gives you a list of all the months in this year and a few of next year. So you can jump forward in time, perhaps to note some vacation plans down.

At any time you can use the This Month or This Week commands to return back to your current month, week or day. In Week or Day View the Go To button provides you with a pop-up calendar that you can navigate by using these arrows a month at a time forward and then select a specific day.

Or use the double chevron arrow to move forward by year and again select a specific day or month with the single chevron arrow. So here we are, March 2011 and we'll click on March 10th. And now we've moved forward to March that week that includes March 10th 2011.

The last way to move through your calendar is to use the search command. We'll set the period of time to be from February 2008 through April 2009. And we'll type in the word dentist and we'll ask KeepandShare to search My Calendar. And it finds three dentist appointments in that period of time. Roughly the last year or so. Easy way to see how I am doing on my schedule of dentist meetings.

Well, that does it for the calendar on the topic of navigation, moving around by week, by month, by day and searching through your calendar.
