Video Transcript for Working with Folders

It's easy to use Folders to organize inside of KeepandShare. To create a new folder, click on the New Folder command and assign a name. Here's our new folder. If you want to create a document inside of that folder the easiest way is to click on the New Document command underneath each folder title.

We'll click here and notice that this new document by default is going to be stored in that folder Client Letters. You can always choose the other folders here as well. Paste in some text, give the Save & Exit command, and here's our sample letter there.

If you decide to change the name of a folder just click on the blue Rename command. One of the more powerful features of folders is setting sharing at the folder level. Let's click here to see what our current Share Settings are. Share Settings are displayed in this violet color so for instance this document is shared with another user named guest and it's also shared with the public. In this document down here is shared with Jackie and she also has editing rights.

Let's say we wanted to share everything in this folder, Clients, with a certain work group. Just click on Share Folder, choose the Share Group that you have already set up, you can certainly assign individual names here as well. We'll give Jackie edit rights again and click on Update. And now see that all of the documents and files inside of the Client folder have been shared with Jackie with edit rights and with the Blue Sky work group.

That's about it for folders. They are easy to work with and the same folder system is available in all of your other KeepandShare applications and works in an identical fashion. Thanks for watching this video!
