Video Transcript for Using Browser Tabs with KeepandShare

I'd like to show you how to use multiple tabs in your browser window to have access to multiple parts of KeepandShare at the same time.

All modern browsers build in the concept of having multiple tabs. Usually in the file menu you find the New Tab command. You can also press 'Ctrl-T'. I'll click on the New Tab command.

You now have the first tab pointing us at Google, the second tab pointing to any website. In this case we'll point it to KeepandShare. While I'm here I'll selected the KeepandShare URL and copy it to the clip board. I'll click on Member Sign in. And now, I'm inside of my KeepandShare account. Let's look at the calendar and see what's up this week.

You'll notice I'm still looking at another web browser, in this case Google, in the first tab, and KeepandShare in the second.

Let's now create a third tab. And I'll use the clipboard to paste the KeepandShare URL in there. You'll notice it takes me instantly into my account, because we're still in the same session of this browser, this Firefox browser. It picks up the login from the first tab looking at KeepandShare. In the second tab here I'll come to my Document application and perhaps look at my folder with camera articles.

Let's create a fourth tab and again we'll point it at KeepandShare. We'll come to my Document application and point it to the films folder, or perhaps finance.

You'll notice we've got tab #4, tab #3 here pointing elsewhere, over here I'm looking at my calendar.

I think you're starting to get the idea. You can create as many tabs as you like in modern browsers and you can point them at any websites.

What I'm trying to show you is how useful it can be to point 3 or 4 tabs at KeepandShare, so you can be pointing to different areas where you're using KeepandShare all the time. So here I'm looking at my insurance records with Blue Cross in the Address application and I can hop back and forth between different areas of KeepandShare.
