Hello forum members! I’ve noticed that many homeowners don’t complain about their roofs immediately after installation, but issues seem to appear several years later — leaks, insulation problems, unexpected repairs. What confuses me is that most of these roofs were installed by licensed contractors using seemingly decent materials. This makes me wonder whether roofing problems are unavoidable or if there are early warning signs and hidden factors people usually miss. I’d like to understand what causes these delayed issues and how homeowners can minimize long-term risks instead of reacting to problems when it’s already expensive
Really appreciate this explanation, it makes a lot of sense now.
