4/22 planted onions cabbages and covered cabbages to keep worms out.

5/1  planted dill and parsley. but straw around herbs to keep weeds down.

5/5  planted tomato plants, pepper plants, carrots, jacobs cattle beans, cowpeas, beets. Onions and potatoes are growing well.

5/15 planted pole beans around corn. everything seems to be growing well. need to still plant more bush beans, garlic over by herbs, pumpkins around corn, marigolds and nasturtiums.

5/29 planted garlic and more green beans.  So far have harvested, zucchinni, cucumbers, small carrots, early onions.

Put items harvested in baskets in the visitors center. Take out no longer fresh produce and put in kitchen for use in cooking demos.
