Melissa Bannan Robinson has provided these verses to identify the true Israel of God:
They which are of faith are the children of Abraham. (Gal. 3:7).
The promise is to all who BELIEVE (Gal. 3:22).
The promise was made to Abraham and his SEED--Christ (Gal. 3:16).
If you are Christ's, you are Abraham's seed (Gal. 3:29).
Your inheritance is not a piece of earthly dirt, but an incorruptible inheritance reserved in heaven (I Pet. 1:4)
Abraham knew this, which is why he sojourned in the "land of promise" as if it were a strange country, still looking forward to the city whose builder and maker is God (Heb. 11:10).
The kingdom of God has been taken from a disobedient nation and given to a nation that produces its fruit (Matt. 21:43).
This nation is a HOLY nation and chosen generation (I Pet. 2:9) made up of Jew and Gentile believers (I Cor 12:13).
The root of the Olive Tree of the true Israel of God is Jewish (we have a foundation of Jesus the corner stone, the Hebrew prophets and apostles), and we dare not boast against the Root. (Eph. 2:20, Rom. 11)
However, no Jew or Gentile can belong to the Israel of God without living, obedient faith. Both must be grafted in or cut off depending on faith (Rom. 11).
There are those who say they are Jews, but are actually the synagogue of satan (Rev. 2:9), and Jesus will make these to acknowledge that He has loved those who were faithful to Him (Rev. 3:9).
The true Jew is not the one who follows Jewish rituals or claims Jewish blood, but the one who has a circumcised heart (Rom. 2:29).
An Israelite in deed is one in whom is no guile (John 1:47).
The Jerusalem that now is in the Middle East remains in the bondage of unbelief, but the Jerusalem which is ABOVE is free in Christ, and SHE IS OUR MOTHER. (Gal. 4:25-26)
