"It is more blessed to give than to receive." Jesus Christ
THE NINE UNGRATEFUL LEPERS
Jesus healed ten lepers --but only one of them returned to thank Him. We can learn a lesson here ...
" And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,
And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.
And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?
There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger."Luke 17:15-18
When Jesus healed Ten Lepers, and only one came back to thank Him, He was still blessed --because He served His Heavenly Father. When we learn to do our Heavenly Father's will without expecting the appreciation of men, satan will lose a lot of His power to manipulate us through the approval or censoriousness of men.
Romans 2:28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:
Romans 2:29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.
