SATAN IS GOD OF THIS WORLD

SATAN IS THE GOD OF THIS WORLD

We must understand those words to become “wise as serpents and harmless as doves” in a hostile world.

When Adam sinned, Satan became the god of this world. That is why he was able to tempt Jesus with these words:

“ … the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.” Matthew 4:8-9

ALL MEN ARE EITHER OF “THE KINGDOMS OF THE WORLD” (Which includes the USA) --OR THEY ARE IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD.

The ruler of this world has many cunning devices. One of them is to give Christians a time of false peace and prosperity with the delusion that they can reform his world. The truth is that any attempt to do so is a futile waste of time that should be used to edify the body of Christ.

Peaceful, like doves  our testimony to the world is

"THE LORD REIGNETH"

"Say among the nations, "The LORD Reigns." Psalm 96:10

The LORD reigns because He created the heavens and the earth. (Verse 5)

As Christians, we have been told to count the cost of following Jesus. In the world, the child of God will live peaceably with all men. He will submit to the authority of governments unless they require us to compromise our faith and obedience to God.

Satan will use family, kings and bishops to falsely accuse and kill us. Jesus said:

Mat 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

If possible, the wise as serpents, will leave that city of the world .. Jesus said:

“And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.” Matthew 10:14-15

In all these circumstances, our faith must be tested and approved before we receive the crown of eternal life. Only the people who obey God --no matter what the cost will receive the indwelling Spirit of Christ, the promise of the Father, that gives us eternal life.

Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. James 1:12

HE THAT HAS THE SON HAS LIFE

“And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.” 1 John 5:11-12
