Well, I guess that a King snake would be better than coming eye to eye with a Tarantula, like my mother did when we first moved to California(1957), and settled in West Covina.

I believe the snake was in our house.

We had lived peacefully and securely in our beloved home until this intruder came!

All 8 inches of him!
