    1. Downtown Spokane: Spokane has one of the nicest downtown cores in the United States. Clean, friendly, and safe don't begin to describe the elegance of the downtown area.
    2. Finch Aboretum: It's a great place to learn about the local plants and trees that can be found in the area. It's a great outdoors place for a picnic or a wedding! It's very beautiful in the summer and spring.
    3. Falls SkyRide: This sky attraction offers a spectacular upfront view of the Spokane Falls. The 15-minute ride begins in the southwest corner of Riverfront Park, crosses the Spokane River and turns around under the Monroe St. Bridge.
    4. Centennial Trail: This 37-mile paved, car-free trail bordering the beautiful Spokane River has something for everyone: running, hiking, biking, horseback riding and canoeing.
    5. Riblet Mansion and Arbor Crest Winery: Built in 1924 by Royal Newton Riblet, this three-story Florentine house is surrounded by an arched gatekeeper's house, sunken rose garden, open-air pagoda, terraced flower and herb gardens, and a life-sized checkerboard.  Several of Arbor Crest's chardonnay, Cabernet sauvignon and Merlot wines have been rated 87 or above by Wine Spectator.
    6. Little Spokane River Natural Area: Today, you may still explore the Little Spokane River and experience much of the same environment as David Thompson discovered almost 200 years ago. The river remains pristine, undisturbed by the march of civilization occurring just a couple miles away and seemingly centuries removed.
    7. Mount Spokane: Located outside of Spokane, this mountain region offers skiing and other outdoor activities.
    8. Avista Stadium Spokane: The playing field looks out over railroad tracks with mountains off in the distance. The grandstand is split by a narrow cross-aisle, with box seats below and reserved seats above. The stadium hosts the Northwest Baseball League, the Spokane Indians.
    9. The Cathedral of St. John: The Gothic-style cathedral made from sandstone has various interior stone carvings illustrating the history of the church. Tours are offered. On Thursday, visitors can enjoy the beautiful sound of cathedral's 49-bell carillon concert.
    10. Browne's Addition Historic District: Listed on the National register of Historic Places, the area is noteworthy for its bungalows, Victorian mansions, and prairie-style homes from the late 19th century. Of particular interest here is the Glover Mansion, the home of Spokane's founder.

    2. Crosbyana Room: A special room on the campus of Gonzaga University is dedicated to remembering the city's native son and famous crooner Bing Crosby, with over 150 items of memorabilia ranging from his gold and platinum records to his best actor Oscar for "Going My Way."
    3. Northwest Museum of Arts & Culture: A large collection of Plateau Indian arts and handicrafts is the highlight of this recently expanded historical museum, founded in 1918. The museum, consisting of the historic Campbell House, Cheney Cowles Museum and the main exhibition building, features exhibits on Native American culture.
    4. Great Northern Clock Tower: Located on Havermale Island in Riverfront Park, the 155-foot clock tower was built as part of the Great Northern Railroad Station in 1902.
    5. The Spokane House Interpretive Center:
      The center tells the story about the oldest building in Washington State. The Spokane House housed several fur trappers and traders for many years, and was a symbol of cultural commerce, cooperation, and the coming changes.
