We have an old house with a wooden roof that has been in need of repair for a long time. We wondered if we could keep the original material to preserve the style of the house, or if it would be better to replace it with a modern version. Can anyone recommend a material that would combine durability, resistance to snow and rain, and would not spoil the aesthetics of a traditional house?
