Weekend in Half Moon Bay
We went to Half Moon Bay for the weekend of Feb. 8-10 to celebrate my birthday/valentines day/last weekend away before the baby. We stayed at the Pacific Victorian Bed and Breakfast. It was a block from the ocean, a small place with 4 rooms, and very friendly owners. We got to pick our breakfast from a menu and it was fabulous. The best oj I've ever had, and yummy eggs benedict and french toast. We were blessed with beautiful weather, super sunny and unseasonably warm. It was great to relax and sleep in.

There were tons of tide pools here
We stumbled across some harbor seals enjoying the sunshine.
Right after taking these pictures, we were accosted by an extremely angry park ranger. Apparently, the federal law there is that you can't be within 300 feet of the seals. We didn't see the sign.
So then we went to a different beach where we could see 'The Mavericks', a surfing spot with huge waves

The views from our balcony
From our balcony we could see the Miramar Beach Restaurant where we ate a great dinner saturday night. We got a table right on the windows by the ocean, and there was live jazz.
