Memphis - Days 23-28
Last week (Sunday May 4) I started back to work (well, working part time from home). On one hand, it's been invigorating as I enjoy what I do, and I thrive on multi-tasking, and deadlines, etc. On the other hand, it's been a wake up call to how much tougher it's going to be to work part time from home then to work full time outside the home. And I jumped right into the fire so to speak, as we have a big event may 15, and there were lots of immediate pressing tasks for me to do last week and this week. It will ebb and flow, so won't always be this busy thank goodness. But I need to take the work when it's there. Thursday May 8 was a particularly challenging day as from 8am - 11pm, Memphis only slept 1.5 hours! And pretty much the whole time he was awake, he wanted to eat. So it was feed him, work for 15 min., feed him, make the bed, feed him, work for 20 min., feed him, do a load of laundry, and so on. I know you moms can identify. :) I had a tiny breakdown at the end of the day, but we survived. :)
Memphis' great grandparents visited last week, and somehow I took no pictures only video, but I'm sure someone else will put those up soon.
Memphis continues to get cuter everyday. I can't believe he's already a month old today!
We had a great mothers day. took almost 200 pictures, but I hope to weed through and put some up soon.
what is it about pacifiers that is so cute?!
