I love your trio of studying" truth, goodness and beauty" in your morning time of homeschool. Memphis's drawings are so good! Do you remember the drawings you did in your 3rd grade homeschool with me the first half of the year? The flowers are beautiful! And the table and chairs look so nice. Lincoln and Iris sure are good buddies too!

Glad you got to enjoy so many gorgeous wildflowers. You have the winter rains to thank for them. We are just now getting a few mustard blooms on some stunted plants due to the lack of winter rain here. When we first lived here there were many vacant lots that would be covered with yellow mustard blooms and blue lupine in the spring. The only lupine I see now is my own little patch where the end of our gravel path meets Via Anacapa. It sprouts up in the dirt and the gravel out there and I love it. I have tried putting the seeds elsewhere in our yard but have had no results.
