The March of the Penguins!
I think this is one of the best animal films ever made; what an amazing story of the Emperor Penguin in Anarctica ...their dedication and self-sacrifice, of 70 mile marches to go to where they can lay their eggs, their courtship, the amazing transfer of the egg from mother to father so the moms can go back again the 70 miles to the sea to get food while the fathers endure the most brutal weather of anywhere on earth to keep the eggs warm while not getting a bite to eat for 3-4 months! This is a must-see film and a good reminder of the miracle of life and God's design of these magnificent birds who know just where to go and who are excellent swimmers but can't fly!
I recommend the other selection too on the DVD, of "Penguins and Men" on how the film was made.
"From whose womb comes the ice? Who gives birth to the frost from the heavens
when the surface of the deep is frozen? Can you bind the beautiful Pleiades? Can you loose the cords of Orion? Can you bring forth the constellations in their seasons or lead out the Bear with its cubs?
Do you know the laws of the heavens?
Can you set up God's dominion over the earth?" -Job 38:29-33
