Speaking of the Philippines themselves, there are both official and semi-legal cockfighting arenas. Often they’re just run by local clubs and organizations. Often the control is minimal. Probably the only thing that worries me. When placing bets on lucky-sabong.com, I still want to have a bit more confidence that I’m protected even minimally, and my money won’t disappear.

As I understand it, if the site is reliable, there should be something written about it. It can’t all work purely on initiative when there’s big money involved. Big for the people who run those bets, not necessarily for you.

I heard it’s a pretty questionable thing in terms of legality. And I don’t get how legal it even is in the Philippines, not to mention betting online. In other words, if I decide to place a bet, will anything happen to me? And are there regulators like in casinos?
