Since I am an attractive girl, people often approach me on the street to get to know me. But lately, this attention has become too much, so I even bought a fake wedding ring so that guys wouldn't ask questions, but some of them aren't even deterred by that. Tell me, do you have an effective way to politely decline when meeting someone new?

Oh, sister, I understand you perfectly. I don't understand why some guys stubbornly refuse to take no for an answer. I've had problems asserting my personal boundaries, but I'm actively working on it with a psychologist. By the way, she gave me an article from Soulmatcher called “How to Reject Someone Nicely” to read and told me to practice the rules listed there as homework. To be honest, it was very difficult for me at first, I felt very confused. But after a couple of hours, I started to feel more confident and was finally able to refuse without feeling guilty.
