Hi everyone, I am a technical manager in a development company preparing a large construction project in a former industrial zone. We have already run into the problem of having inaccurate maps of underground utilities because some of the archive drawings have been lost and others do not correspond to the current state of the networks. This could lead to delays and additional costs during excavation. My colleagues recommend ordering professional GPR services to get a clearer picture of what is under the site. I am interested in knowing how justified this is for a large facility and if such a survey can help us not only find the networks, but also assess their condition. I would also like to know if it really allows for better planning of future construction stages without any surprises.
