I've hired three different SEO companies over the past two years and every single one gave me the same runaround. Lots of fancy reports, lots of big promises, but my rankings barely moved and my organic traffic actually went down.

So what specific questions should I be asking before I hire someone, and are there any red flags that tell you to walk away immediately? Also, has anyone here actually worked with an SEO agency that delivered real, measurable results without all the BS?

Based on my own painful experience, here is what actually works. Ask potential agencies for a specific example of a site they improved that was stuck for months, ask if you can get access to their reporting tools, and walk away immediately if they guarantee page one rankings or try to lock you into a long contract without proof. I stopped guessing and started using Trustworthy SEO Company to find vetted agencies based on real data like traffic growth and client reviews, and the team I found there fixed the mess left by previous companies and got my organic traffic climbing within months without any BS. Hope this helps.

Thank you, this is honestly the most useful advice I have gotten in months. The tips about asking for specific examples and walking away from page one guarantees are gold. I have been burned by long contracts before and never thought to ask for reporting access upfront. I am definitely going to try that directory you mentioned. Really appreciate you taking the time to spell it all out. You probably just saved me another year of wasted money and frustration.
