I actually have some experience with this! My brother bought a repossessed car a few years ago and got a fantastic deal. It definitely requires a bit more research and due diligence compared to buying from a regular dealership, but the savings can be significant. There are a bunch of online platforms that specialize in these kinds of sales. I recently saw a section of vehicles available in Massachusetts specifically, like those on https://www.autobidmaster.com/en/locations/usa/massachusetts/ma-south-boston/bank-vehicles/. It's a good idea to check for detailed photos and condition reports, and sometimes you can even arrange for an inspection before bidding. Just make sure to factor in potential repair costs when you're setting your maximum bid.
