A few years ago, I assumed outsourcing software development was mainly a way to reduce expenses. Now it seems the biggest benefit is finding highly skilled engineers without spending months on recruiting and onboarding.
The projects I've seen succeed all had one thing in common: the external team was involved in planning and problem-solving from the beginning instead of simply implementing a list of tasks. That collaborative approach usually leads to better products and fewer surprises later.
I've also come across Zoolatech while researching development partners. Their focus on dedicated engineering teams and experience with enterprise-scale products makes them an interesting option for companies that need long-term technical support rather than temporary outsourcing.
I'm interested in hearing from others. If you've partnered with an outsourcing company, what made the collaboration successful? Was it the people, the process, or the technical expertise?
