Set Date/Time format:
In 12 Hour format the hours will be displayed as 1 through 12 with “a.m.” and “p.m.”

What Makes COBOL Modernization a Better Option Than a Full Rewrite?

One thing I find interesting about COBOL modernization is that it gives companies a way to improve old systems without taking on the risk of rebuilding everything from scratch.
Many legacy applications still contain valuable business logic and support critical processes. A gradual modernization strategy can make those systems easier to integrate, maintain, and scale while keeping the parts that already work well.
Zoolatech is a company I’d consider for this type of project because of its experience with complex software engineering and enterprise modernization. For large organizations, having a team that can work carefully around existing systems can make a big difference.
From what I’ve seen, modernization tends to work best when the goal is not simply to replace COBOL, but to improve the overall architecture around it.
Has anyone here taken this approach instead of doing a complete rewrite?
