Noticed a sewer-like smell in the basement occasionally and worried it might be related to the septic system. Not sure if it's a ventilation issue or something more serious. Wondering how to figure out the cause and whether it's something that can be fixed without calling a professional right away. Any tips on where to start would be appreciated.
