A lot of these services and platforms are actually already set up to connect with a website. So I'd suggest you first check the settings yourself and see if you can just turn it on, so the data gets passed along on its own without anyone typing it in. It's basically setting up some "talking" between your website and your PMS without you having to do anything. Developers like ASD Team, who do integrations, handle this kind of thing. In general, these guys give you a free estimate, so you can message them, ask what would work, how much it costs and so on.

I'm not a developer. But we need some kind of automation here. Maybe there are some AI solutions? Honestly, I've never really thought about how I book and pay for a room, but for some reason I always worry about whether the hotel's admin can see it.

We have a small hotel, but we do have our own website. We're trying to get away from the big aggregators altogether, since they charge huge commissions. Guests book on the site, but we have to handle the requests by hand. How do you make it so a booking from the site goes into the PMS on its own and blocks the room for those dates right away, with no manual transfer?
